Auto maintenance settings (Item for administrator)

Select this setting item from Device settings on Various settings.

Important

• This setting item is for the administrator. The administrator password is required to change settings.

• Auto nozzle check

  Enables/Disables automatic nozzle checking.

• Nozzle check error display

  Enables/Disables displaying the nozzle check error.

• System cleaning frequency

  Specifies the frequency of automatic system cleaning.

  Note

  • To maintain print quality, we recommend you select Short if you use the printer at a higher place.

• Ink maintenance (tank installed)

  Selecting ON allows the printer to shake ink tanks on a regular basis to maintain ink density.

  Important

  • We recommend you select ON. Failure to perform the ink quality maintenance about once a week may affect print quality.
